- Open Outlook 2000.
- Click the "Tools" menu
- Choose the "Accounts."
Note: Some versions of Outlook 2000 have
this listed as "Services" rather than "Accounts."

- Click the "Add" button
- Choose the "Mail" option as shown below.

- Begin by putting in the "display name."
That is the name that people will see when they
receive an e-mail from this account. It does not have to match
the e-mail username.

- Enter your e-mail address.
- Click "Next".
|
 |
- Select "POP3" as the mail server type.
- For incoming and outgoing mail enter mail.ispname.com where
ispname.com is the part of your email address after the @ sign.
Example: If your email address is elf@northpole.com
your mail server address would be mail.northpole.com.

- Enter your account name and password.
Hint: your account name is the part of your email address
before the @ sign. So if your email address is elf@northepole.com
your account name would be elf.

 |
- Select "Connect using my phone line."
|
 |
- Select "Use an existing dial-up connection"
- Select your Dial-up connection from the box.
- Click "Next."
|
 |
| Click "Finish." |
